What is Health Knowledge Management (HKM)?


“Using KM to bridge the gap between Knowledge & Practice”

HKM could be described as the way in which multi-disciplinary teams, working in healthcare, harvest the personal expertise that is essential to patient safety, learn from it, adapt it to local situations and individual patients and distribute it via reliable networks to the people caring for the patients, so that they can use it to improve the quality of care delivered.
